Above-ceiling work

Ceiling access, barrier integrity, penetrations, firestopping, dust release, and exposed systems can create risk outside the visible work area.

Air, dust, water & vibration

Egress & fire protection

Set interim measures when exits, fire alarm, sprinklers, smoke barriers, compartmentation, hazardous conditions, or responder access are impaired.

Closeout Acceptance

The project is not complete when the contractor leaves.

Construction risk closes when the organization can defend the condition it accepts back into normal care operations.

Confirm the final condition of the space, above-ceiling work, barriers, life safety features, utilities, cleanliness, and affected clinical pathways.

Correct

Resolve deficiencies, incomplete documentation, open impairments, failed controls, contractor punch-list items, and conditions that do not match the approved risk record.

Accept

Return the affected area to normal operations with a defensible project record that connects PCRA, ICRA, ILSM, field verification, and closeout evidence.
